corvette shirt

i finished jasons shirt. its actually been finished for a week, he wore it to work on tuesday, i just didnt get any pictures until last night. jason chose the fabric, and the buttons i got from ash in august. the pattern was from my moms stash.



i did not plan this, but both sides of the collar say stingray. it worked out so well, even jason liked this part.




i love these buttons. i think the color looks so good on this shirt.



so there it is. the first thing ive ever made for my husband. :)

    jason wore it to work the morning after i finished the buttons, and i told him, if any one said anything about the late 70's feel of the collar, tell them it goes with the shirt.

    well, guy made some comment about not being able to trust his decision making skills, because he bought this shirt, and jason was already a little irritated at the day so he let off (to his boss mind you) that his wife made him this shirt, and that he really likes it. guy shut him mouth and didnt mention it again. :|

    when jason got home though, he told me that he thinks it might be his favorite shirt now. :) that made my day.
